CASA Wooden Children Project

During the month of April, the Fourth Judicial District CASA program is displaying wooden children on the courthouse lawn to represent child victims. This initiative is in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month, and the Care Campus and CASA are looking for sponsorships and fosters for the wooden children. To represent the abused and neglected children in our community in 2023, we need a total of 454 sponsorships and fosters for the wooden children. Fourth Judicial District CASA serves children in five Oklahoma counties - Blaine (65), Garfield (271), Grant (8), Kingfisher (21), and Woodward (89).

Sponsorships - $200
Fosters - $35

Check Out Our Newest Outcomes!

The long-range outcomes for children with a CASA volunteer are that children have a safe and permanent home and that children don’t “fall through the cracks” of the system that is in place to protect them. Fourth Judicial District CASA and CASA programs across Oklahoma have identified initial and intermediate outcomes that, when measured, demonstrate the real changes we are making in the lives of children.
Here are the results for FY2023!
